Best Show Out On TV Today
I just started watching Bad Girls this year. There was a marathon of season 3 on and I was clued. Evertime there is an episode on I am there. This show is by far the best show on tv. I want every season of the Bad Girls and I hope it stays on the air for a long time. Bad Girls = great storylines, great characters, overall 10++++++++++

I love this series,I agree with all previous reviews definately one of the better love stories on tv,also could with out a doubt be promoted a little better. I find myself waiting anxiously week to week to see what happens next. I would purchase all eight seasons if they were available in the United States but as it is I cant' even find season one, the only one available here.

Best show I have seen on TV
This is the best show on TV in Quite sometime. I have been watching Lword on showtime since its' beginning four seasons ago,but I love this series every bit as much if not more.I especially love the romantic story line between the two characters Helen Stewart and Nikki Wade.I would purchase all eicht seasons if they were available here in the United States. But as it is I cant' even find a copy of the first and only season available here.

Hetero female LOVES THIS SHOW
I never heard of Logo until a gay friend of mine told me about it I discovered Bad Girls one day while scrolling TV and have been hooked on it ever since.(within the past month). I have watched all episodes on line and cannot wait to catch up on Episode #7 until present. The actors are incredible the show should be a world wide hit with lots of awards the rest of the TV fans don't know what they are missing! I love "Shell" her acting is "5 stars". I would love to meet the cast. It is a story of all that is real in the world, love and hate, crime and paybacks, loyalty, jealousy, victimization, betrayals (P*ss off Mr. Fenner lol) drama and passion, etc. I will miss "Zandra" she was also an amazing character actress.
My hats off to the writers, directors, actors and actresses. I love you all thank you for keeping me on the edge of my seat and for becoming my FAVORITE SHOW!!!!

The adult lesbian romantic love story I had been waiting for!
I had not even heard of this great landmark british series until it was going into its 8th year (now ended, along with the series itself)nor of the beautiful love story of Nikki and Helen. The u.s. media was remiss in not informing me sooner. But better way late than never. This was the one I've been waiting for. This story reverberated and resonated for me, whereas The L Word, e.g., only makes me grind my teeth and shake my head.
The first 3 seasons of Bad Girls are truly important tv. You had the entire country of Great Britain riveted to their tvs, and a mostly hetero audience pulling for a lesbian love match. The show was deliciously subversive in achieving that.
This first season dvd set is the only one available to date in the u.s. I actually had to purchase a region free dvd player, something I've found a lot of other u.s. fans have done, and sent to the u.k. for the season 2 and 3 dvd sets (yes, there are must-see extras as well, including a steamy deleted love scene) so I could follow this great love story to its conclusion. And you don't know how it will end... tragically or happily. In fact, season 2 ends with one of the great nail-biting cliffhangers I've ever seen on tv. Actually, 4 cliffies in a row, one right after the other. You can't see how they could possibly get out of their dilemma...the first hour that follows...episode 1 of season 3 is one of the best damn hours of tv ever.
You become completely invested in all the characters, the good and bad, the prisoners and their jailers, it's surprisingly reminiscent of "Upstairs, Downstairs" in a way. And the beautifully nuanced performances of the two lead actresses, especially the stunning Simone Lahbib (who knew a scottish accent could be so damn sexy?)are simply sublime. Don't let the title fool you. This is not trash tv. This is great brit drama. And one of the best love stories ever.

Far,Far Superior to What I had Expected
I have watched plenty of prison films over the years mens womens I thought I check this out thinking "don't expect me to stick around." At this point,I am on Season 3 so much for "don't expect me to stick around!" This series has grabbed me. Each character is developed I have developed feelings for them , positive or negative. I know the relationship betwen Nikki Helen so far seems to be central to many it is. Yet I have plenty I could write regarding the personalities of all the characters. I do know how far into the series Simone Lahib is involved but not Mandana Jones.Both woman have been marvelous in bringing their characters to life. Prisons are not the real world hence many varied relationships develop.Can not stand the wicked Jim Fenner or "Old Body Bag",am finding Dominic a true fellow, loyal caring. Shell,I do understand her brokeness,Yvonne likeiable yet dangerous as hell....and a death so far of a character I was angry at grew to care about, Zandra her bond with Chrystal.IT did not need a ro mantic or sexual storyline to be very potent. Not having seen any episodes other than on LOGO I do wonder what has been cut that would further develop the characters, all who are flawed just as all of us human beings.Fenner and Betts , now that's a curious pair.As far as I have watched ,though, I purchased Series I but have not watched it via DVD yet without ads. Is there a different flow? And for those who have seen the entire series seen in Britain I am curious, is the main difference in intensity of romantic scenes between Helen Nikki or ...if so ..how? So far I still give it a 5. I fully understand appeal of the show in the states all the other countries which have seen it.

Helen Stewart is smokin' hot and incredibly sexy. I can't wait to see what happens between her and Nikki in series 3. I too have had an episode of Bad Girls on TV while someone else is trying to talk to me on the phone. I am such a big fan of this show that I actually bought series 2 and to find out what happens. It is incredible, I can't stop watching. Especially the scenes between Helen and Nikki. Those are HOT!Overall, I feel that the casting and story lines are riviting. I won't give anything away, but series 2 is shocking towards the end and I've heard that series 3 is too. Im still waiting to get a shipment from the UK so I haven't seen it yet. If you desperately want to know what happens, you can find episode summaries for every series on www.badgirls.co.uk. Or better yet, you can get them for cheap on amazon.co.uk. I play the discs on my laptop and it works great. All you have to do is change the region to 2. Again, thank you Logo for "turning me on" to such a thrilling lesbian drama.

I have not had a series to hold my attention like this in years. Helen is the reason to watch. It has a lot of twist and turn's. Cant wait to see how this turn's out.

Helen is a class act!
I love this series. The sexual tension between Nikki and Helen is great. Most reviews love Nikki..but Helen is my favorite, classy, professional, sexy and a beautiful women. Please give us more information on the series. This lesbian loves LOGO, for providing good programs for Gays and Lesbians...Thank you!

I love BG .I just strated watching recently.I was fliping trough the channels seen it for about ten mins and was hooked. I'd love to know where to get the other seasons.I think there great.

The love story I have been waiting for.
Flicking through the channels, trying to find something that would not be too distracting as background noise as I settle down to write, I caught a glimpse of the infamous Nikki Wade (Ms. Jones) and has to pause.
Before I realize what was going on, it was 47 minutes later and I haven't written a word.
I had learned during the commercials the name and basic plot of what would soon become one of my favorite show.
As soon as it was over, I was online, attempting to find out as much as I can about 'Bad Girls'. I was intrigued by everything I learned and wanted to know more.
Though I was intrested in all the women, it was the Love story involving lifer Nikki Wade (my favorite character) and governor Stewart. For the first time there was a love story of two women that I could actully relate to.
Don't get me wrong, I am also a fan of The L Word (the only other portrayal of lesbian love on TV) but it is glamorize. They all have dream jobs, clothes and lifestyles.
In Bad Girls, Helen was working class, getting from day to day, Nikki was in prison, with not the brightest of futures
Everything it seem was conspiring aginst them. They fought and loved with the same intensity. They overcome all odds, including their own fears and insecurities and though they eventully ended up together, there was still so much to be done.
It was as close to reality as possiable yet still quite intresting.
It is a must see for lesbians both newly comming out and seasoned. I do think they will all love it.

I'm hooked!
When I first saw the trailers for the series, I thought it was just another women in prison show. However, when I began watching I was very impressed with the production.Exceptional writing, a great cast ,and a well-paced storylinemakes this series one of the best shows on television.
The ensemble cast adds to its success especially the roles played by Mandana Jones and Simone Lahbib. This series is a definite winner!

Helen and Nikki are HOT together
This is the best show that I have seen on LOGO. But I do wish you would re-state Helen back to Larkhall, 'cause she was the best thing for this prison, Nikki, and had Mr. Fenner always watching his back. She could become the right-hand officer to the New governor who would benefit from having Helen on her side when any women has to go up against the boys club of the prison. Also, having Nikki get paroled and moving in with Helen as she still work at Larkhall.

well girls I've just found my cable has aquired LOGO and with it came "BAD GIRLS" I love this show!Don't get me wrong I'm a fan of Lword but it's best season was season 1 and it has tumbled since then.Now I've decided I'm in love with Nikki AND Helen but I can't decide which I want first.Maybe I will just kick back and watch them go at it.(what do u guys think?)I have only seen season one and am anxious for more.I am worried though.When Helen gave Nikki that hot kiss and told her "S**t Happens"is that the end of this romance or does it continue on into more seasons?Please say it continues...How bout u girls from the UK.No big giveaways now just info.on more Nikki/Helen story lines.Any new buddies are welcome. I love this show. I love the way they make the twists on every eppys. The chem between Helen and Nikki I LOVE IT. they are both beautiful women and no doubt they are smokin hot lol. I love this show no doubt it is my fave. of all time NO show compares to it. I hope the seasons come out to DVD soon so i can buy them but in the U.S. we only have season one so plzzzz hurry i want it on DVD

I LOVE THIS SHOW HELEN IS ALL THAT
I love this show and I am totally hooked. All of the story lines are great but of course my favorite is Helen and Nikki especially Helen. She is absolutly beautiful. I tape the show each week and find myself rewinding just to see any scenes between those two especially the intimate scenes. The last epsisode shown in the U.S. is when Helen finally kissed Nikki in her cell. Know I must looked at that scene at least 50 times. (CANT WAIT FOR MORE) I just wish it was a little bit more intense. I wish all seasons were availabe for sale in the U.S. I'm still having problems purchasing the first season. It's never available. All said and done "excellent show and I will continue to watch. Just please make it availabe for purchase in the U.S. The uncut versions please which you don't get on the LOGO Channell.

this ties with the L Word
I love the story between Helen and Nikki.Jim Fenner can get caught with Shell for all I care. I just want to see Helen and Nikki do the dirty and be happy. After all who deserves it more than Helen and Nikki?I am so glad logo decided to play this show because if they didn't I wouldn't have a favorite show. I knew there would be something between Helen and Nikki when they argued on the first episode.Why can't Helen admitt she has the hots for Nikki, shoot forget the job. Helen so kissed Nikki back when she came in her cell but she lied and said she was dragged in there. I get so wrapped into the show especially when my mom is calling me, I can't even hear her. Some might say i'm to young but i can tell when a show is good. And this show is GOOD!

Bad Girls Rocks!
Bad Girls is one of best shows since I liked Seinfield and that was 10 years ago, thanks for a show I absolutely love!! it's been a long time. I hope all my friends can view it on there satelites soon so we can talk about it!

The stars of this show should be proud of what they accomplished. This show is fantastic. The romantic story of Hellen and Nikki is encouraging. To all of you guys from Bad Girls - you did it years ago, and still continue to add more and more fans, now in USA. What a talent, and gorgeous women no less. If Simone and Mandana get to be together again in another show, it will be a smashing hit!!!

Great Story, Great Characters
I love Bad Girls. The story lines just keep getting better and better. Of course, I am attracted to the lesbian characters which is a refreshing change from the BS you get on "non-logo" channels. Bad Girls is a show I look forward to every week and I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone seeking a great story with fantasic characters. Thank you LOGO!! Cheers.

Seasons 1-3 best
I found BG Season 1 on Netflix. Was instantly addicted. Loved the stories/plotlines and of course the one about Nikki Helen the most (SO hot!!!)! Couldn't get any other of the discs through Netflix so... bought them from amazon.co.uk. Expensive and I needed UK regional player software to watch. Totally worth every penny!
If you like BG I also recommend 'Sugar Sweet' about a girl who's family move her from London to Brighton (kind of a backwater in comparison) where she falls hard for a girl named Sugar. It's funny, a little raunchy and (eventually) hot. Maybe Logo will get this series, too?

LOVE IT
I am a mother of three and one day was clicking on tv. I happened apon Bad Girls on LOGO, watched one episode and was hooked. I love the story line and the depth of the characters. My daughter has started watching it after she saw me crying when Zandra passed away. Now she is hooked too. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT

Best TV has to offer
I've been watching for a while now. It's the best TV has to offer. I do miss Helen and Nikki but the show continues to keep my attention. It's just very sad that you can't buy any Season except Season one on DVD. Can't wait until the new season starts. Maybe the other seasons will be available on DVD soon, instead of just on Itunes.
